Abstract

The present work corresponds to the conference imparted in the "I Encuentro Internacional de Investigación Cualitativa en Educación" (Barquisimeto, 2005.) Various questions related to the teaching of "qualitative research" are approached at the university level and at the pedagogic environment. The methodological training of education professionals locates us before the challenge of directing our educational action in a simultaneous way, toward the knowledge, and toward the students. Thus, this essay particularly emphasizes the following aspects: a) the need for institutional and curricular spaces; b) the necessity to incorporate and enlarge the syntactic vision of the disciplines during training; c) the importance of other perspectives; d) the qualitative glance; and the epistemological-theoretical formation; f) the use of the "self" as an tool; g) the recurrence between the collection and the analysis of the information; h) to make science or to teach how to make it; i) the didactic knowledge of content.
