Abstract
The present paper results from a research aiming to propose a didactic suitcase as resource for the geographic study and conservation of the wildlife reserve “Esteros de Camaguán”, addressed to teachers in the field of Social Sciences in the high school institution “Germán Fleitas Beroes” from Camaguán, Guárico state. With the present proposal it is expected to solve the lack of didactic resources, specifically for the development of content in the subject matter Geography of Venezuela. The study was framed within a special project, with an explicative research supported by documental and field ones. It was observed the absence of didactic resources during the development of the classes; for instance, maps, earth globes, software, GPS equipment, among other. It was concluded that with the use of the suitcase it is possible to guide geography teaching from the local and the endogenous. Finally, it is expected that it contributes to a better geographic knowledge of the ecosystems belonging to the aforementioned community.Downloads
