Abstract

The educational ground requires an investigative process from the teacher, who has to be able to integrate academic aspects with the social area in order to register solutions to problems in the pedagogical praxis as well as in the community. That is why Action Research in the classroom and Participatory Action Research as a methodological strategy offer changes in the teacher’s activities through the organization of procedures and mechanisms towards a new vision of the forming process and it’s applicability to real and concrete problems in order to improve teaching practice with social relevance. In this respect, this essay makes reference to the Participatory Action Research in the process of learning transformation in the classroom and outside of it. Then, by applying techniques to the process of reflection-action, some changes can occur in educational or community groups, where the organization is viewed as a key part in linking schools and social context, learning together through sharing of knowledge and experience to serve the community.
