Abstract
This article shows the results of a research aiming to adjust a university management indicator based on organizational climate (IGEUclio) by using the structural equations multivariate technique. The researcher achieved a causal-type field study and included a stratified probabilistic sample with proportional allocation. It was constituted by 187 professors who answered the 30-items IGEUclio questionnaire. The proposed meassurement model was accepted according to measures of goodness of overall fit: Normed Fit Index (NFI = 0.98), Normed Fit Index (NFI = 0.98) and Fit Index (GFI = 0.99). Most of the assessed parameters were statistically significant (p<0,001) and the hypothesis that indicators assigned to each dimension correspond to the proposed model was accepted. The questionnaire providing the IGEUclio measure was configured with 12 items; the indicator adjustment will allow to the different university management levels to get reliable, pertinent and objective information for decision making.
