Abstract
This essay tries to highlight a series of reflections on the role of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary in generating knowledge processes within universities. To achieve a clear presentation, a brief story related to a primitive way how humans interacted with the environment was presented, generating ancestral knowledge that was part of the genesis of further knowledge. Then, arguments aimed to highlight theoretical and discursive elements were developed in the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives to understand the nature and dynamic of them, what allowed configuring a set of inputs whose aim is to serve for debate and discussion of specific ideas whose purpose is to open the possibility of reaching total and not fragment knowledge.Downloads
