Abstract
Technical schools are organizations whose goal is to reach social integration, as part of the developing plan of a country. They are meant to technically prepare human resources at a high school level. With this in mind, the author of this essay ponders over the role of technical schools in Venezuela as promoters of feasible productive projects and its methods to train the members of the community, based on a plural cultural approach, in which respect for the needs of a social group, the sharing of responsibilities, the balanced distribution of power and the members’ commitment is promoted. Finally, the advantages productive projects offer are suggested as tools for the building of goods, social organization and self-management.
