Abstract

The aim of this research was to set up whether evaluating Linear Algebra using a virtual learning environment designed in the Moodle V3.9 web application facilitates students to obtain better learning results in the subject. The study was descriptive under a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design, information was collected with a questionnaire based on a Technology Acceptance Model applied to 112 first-level engineering students from the Salesian Polytechnic University. The results showed the utility perceived by the students when being evaluated through the virtual platform through questionnaires structured with a large bank of questions and the tasks evaluated with rubrics. On the other hand, from the student's perspective, the virtual learning environment is a technological resource with an easy-to-use interface. It was concluded that these resources were fundamental to achieve the learning achievements of students.
