Abstract
In this investigation-action research, we tried to promote transformations in a total group of fifty-six students taking a language class during term 2012-1, from the Agro-Industrial specialty at Universidad Centroccidental “Lisandro Alvarado” through effective oral communication. We used Participant Observation, Focus Groups, and Narrative Inquiry as techniques to collect data through a journal. We were able to demonstrate the need of planning and applying a plan called “Effective Oral Communication and Creativity Display” in two phases. Evidence allowed us to see that the development of oral communication skills generated agro-ecological contributions that favored ecological awareness. Finally, we can claim that the actors are creative and reflective people who manifest a desire for communicative transformation oriented to impact their social context through creative ideas.
