Abstract

The purpose of the present research was to examine the formation of work teams to contribute to transformational learning in university organizations through coaching. For this purpose, it is presented an innovative experience as indicator that teams are the key unit to develop in each member the infinite capacity of learning and transformation. The principles of coaching were applied in the reported experience to prepare the work teams on the use of their potential under a shared vision and by using reflection, research and effective conversations. The experience arose from a qualitative research, defined by the participative action method. Improvements in learning in terms of organization ways and work productively in teams was observed for university teachers during the experience.
