Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce a proposal for didactic sequence that emerges from the difficulties presented by students in the production and comprehension of synthesis in argumentative written texts in the speciality of Language and Literature at the Pedagogical University Experimental Libertador. This proposal pretends to strengthen the communicative competence of the students, generating significant processes ofreading and writing as key practices, which conceives the reader-writer as an information processor and producer of sense.
