Abstract
This research establishes the discrepancies in the application of the Didactics and Methodology used by math teachers in connection with the programmatic unit: Calculation and Computer science of the V.E.B.S. This study could be placed within the context of the evaluation research and its methodological procedure was centered in the descriptive-exploratory method. An instrument was designed, composed of 36 items and referred, on one hand, to the real thing (BE) and on the other to the ideal thing (IT SHOULD BE). This instrument was applied to math teachers who work in the III Stage of V.E.B.S. It facilitated the storing of information which analysis show the following results: there is, in general, a high discrepancy among the "BE" and the "IT SHOULD BE" of the methodological profile used by math teachers; math teachers declare the no-inclusion and the missing development of the programmatic unit Calculation and Computer science in their annual planning.
