The director as holistic social manager, state schools, Juan Jose Mora municipality, Carabobo State

Abstract

The purpose of this work was to analyze the role of the director as a social manager towards holistic development in the State Schools of the Juan José Mora Municipality of Carabobo state. Due to its nature, this research was framed in the descriptive modality supported by field research. The work was based on the following theories: classical, motivation, communication and Holistic Development Theory. The population was made up of ten (10) directors and (165) teachers. To collect the information, the survey technique was used, in a Likert scale questionnaire, which was submitted to expert judgment. The results obtained were presented. in tables with frequencies and percentages, as well as bar graphs with their respective analyses. In conclusion, it was proven according to the indicators studied that directors and teachers do not always assume roles addressing new approaches to organizational management towards a holistic vision to transform the institution into a center of constructive interaction in order to raise educational quality.
