Abstract
The study's general objective is to analyze the short film, as a pedagogical tool for collaborative work in students who are studying the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics oriented to Secondary Education, at ISFODOSU, Luis Napoleón Núñez Molina Campus, Dominican Republic, January-April 2021 semester The methodological approach was developed based on the qualitative paradigm, under the action research method. The population consisted of 19 students. The research procedure is based on the inductive method and for the action research model, the Kemmis model was chosen. In the results, the opinions of the students, the research team and the theories consulted were contrasted, using a matrix containing the similarities and differences. As conclusions, it is pertinent to improve the capacity for collaborative work of students through the short film production strategy, since they contribute to solving problems and favor their learning.
