Abstract

This documentary research focuses on the importance of teaching management in the administration of distance learning. Changes in traditional education and distance learning are identified, as well as the requirements for teachers to manage distance learning virtually. Thus, tasks, management skills and teacher's performance criteria and knowledge about virtual administration are established. As a result, teacher's management must comply with the following functions: to desing content, to motivate and promote interest for the proposed topics, guide students in the learning process, amplify information, evaluate learning, design and evaluate courses.
